About Pure Core
At Pure Yoga we teach a fusion of the traditional Pilates repertoire and Barre Movements , that we call Pure Core. This ultimately results in the best core workout around. Research shows that the body responds to variety and will change when it is challenged, this is the reason why each pilates class you attend will never quite be like the last one.
Each class will always use a variety of small apparatus which will include any of the following pieces of equipment; Pilates flexi-ring, foam roller theraband, small ball and light weights. The use of the equipment can increase the intensity of the class and adds variety and interest to one hour workout.
Our Pure Core program is run over a 10 week period and twice throughout the series a Pure Core circuit is taught where the larger pieces of equipment such as pilates reformer, wunda chair, flexi rings, foam rollers, therabands, spine corrector, discs, tubing, suspension training (TRX), Core trainer and large fitness balls are used. This is the ultimate Pure Core challenge and is a great all over body workout.
